Where It's At's first 2022 booking!

Information

We’re delighted to welcome along Manchester favourite DJ Chris Massey!!
Chris has been involved in tonnes of good stuff in the Manchester music scene and beyond for several years. He runs his own ace label Sprechen, works at iconic dance label Paper Recordings, is the booking manager for The Refuge, Electric Chair events, and more recently has taken the role of artistic director at the suburban den of rave The Carlton Club. Somehow, amongst all that he finds the time to be a wicked DJ and producer and has performed at Kiss Me Again, Supernature Disco, Electric Chair, Homoelectric, Beatherder and The Come As You Are Weekender to name but a few!!

Not content with being merely a club night, we’ve also got Blackpool’s own spoken poet Nathan Parker aka Parker Book making his debut live performance to get proceedings under way in style!!
Those of you who have seen his “To be Northern” vid will know what a talented wordsmith he is and we’re mega excited to be hosting the first live gig of a chap with a bright future ahead.
We’re also welcoming Cowbell Radio’s DJ Ed Mahon to the WIA dancefloor for the first time. Ed’s one of the most versatile DJ’s around and his production career is seriously on the rise, his work is attracting a lot of attention from well respected, established names.
The night also features WIA regulars Ossie Newton and Rick Napier and as ever the music policy throughout will be a blend of anything from disco/funk/soul edits, electronica, house, balearic, boogie, new wave, techno, beats, breaks and anything else we fancy!!

It’s certainly been a struggle the past 12 months but it will be great to hear top notch music on a proper soundsystem, dance, hug, laugh, reconnect with friends and have an all round belter of a night!!!
