Jealous is a powerhouse art-punk trio that has been a big part of Berlin’s contemporary music scene.
Jealous was formed in Berlin in early 2018 by Paz Bonfil (Guitar, Vocals) and Adi Kum (Bass, Vocals). Paz and Adi met 8 years ago in Tel Aviv’s underground circuit, and have been based in Berlin in the last years. In 2019 they recorded their first EP “What’s Your Damage?”.
The EP was self-released on their own independent label “Baby Satan Records” in 2020 and last summer their second EP “Lover” was released by the NY based label “Deadstrange” (A Place To Bury Strangers).
Since 2018 Jealous have played over 100 shows, toured in France, Israel, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Belgium and played support shows for bands such as “Surfbort”, “Death Valley Girls”, “Viagra Boys”, “Amyl and the Sniffers”, “Gurr” and more.
In 2021 Jealous played concerts including: SXSW online festival, the Jewish festival of Krakow, Synästhesie Festival, Reeperbahn Festival for the third time, Fusion Festival, and played in the orchestra of the opera piece D.I.E at Ruhrtriennela Festival in Duisburg.
This year the band toured with A Place To Bury Strangers and The Black Lips, played C/O POP festival, was played by Henry Rolling on his radio show in KCRW and is about to play Fusion Festival and tour the UK
