Where It’s At! welcome a very special guest indeed, DJ Sean Johnston. One half of the legendary ‘A Love From Outer Space’ nights with former DJ partner Andrew Weatherall, who sadly passed away last year.
ALFOS featured at the best clubs and festivals in Europe and beyond over the years having an almost cult like following. Andrew’s passing was felt by so many and signalled the start of an incredibly tough period with Covid taking grip soon after.
With night life brought to a stand still Sean began doing regular lockdown streams – ALFOS, Emergency Broadcast System, which became a much needed source of entertainment for music lovers. Featuring predominantly new and amazing multi genre electronic music, it proved to be a welcome reminder to fans of that sound they will be in safe hands with Brother Johnston at the helm post Coronavirus.
Not merely a DJ, Sean is also a prolific music producer, recording under the Hardway Bros guise to much acclaim.
With a genuine sense of optimism in the air we can dare to dream of fun times and dancefloor goodness again. That being said, should the worst case scenario happen, the date will be rescheduled, tickets remain valid or a refund will be offered if you can’t make the rearranged date.
We’re beyond excited to have such a high calibre artist perform for WIA. Spread the word, get excited, it may be some way off but when it takes place it’s going to be unreal!
